Single Incision RNY

 Has anyone in Ontario had VGS or RNY with a single incision?  If so, who was your surgeon?

I had 8.... I would think you would be hard pressed to find someone to do it with 1 seeing as they need incisions for cameras too I believe. 

It's definitely possible.  There are a few people on a different forUm who have had it done in both Mexico and US.  I think self-pay though.  I knew it was a long shot, but I was hoping.

The only people that I know that have one were done wide open not lap.  With lap they all have 4 to 5.

I know this is coming eventually,  and has been done for other surgeries, but I haven't heard of it done yet for wls in Ontario. I think it's great! And hope it becomes the norm. 

Having said that, I have 5-6 tiny incisions, two that are not quite an inch, the rest, maybe a quarter ish inch? I'm four months out, and they are healed nicely, and already turning pink. 

I'm 5 weeks out, and I can barely see my (5) 0.5" long incisions :)
