offically on the losers bench!

Doctor Gamora and his team were fantasic, I was really scared going into surgery but he spoke with me before and made me feel really comfortable. I was in recovery for a while due to really bad pains but I'm feeling better now, mostly gas pain and where my drain is. I went for my first walk and hope to squeeze a few more in tonight, I'm not allowed any water until tomorrow so I will be sipping away in the morning. Thank you everyone for the support you've given me leading up to this surgery; now off to sleep!

Thanks Kathy, it will be your turn before you know it. It's been a rough 2 days, I've been sipping and walking but unfortunately the gas does not want to come out, hopefully I will be out tomorrow and have an easier recovery at home 

I'm so sorry it's been so rough.  Will they let you take Gas-X or is that not allowed after surgery?

I imagine you'll feel more comfortable at home.  Fingers crossed they discharge you tomorrow.

I hope you'll be able to get some rest tonight.
