I'm still pre-op, so I only have NSGs (goals) like getting rid of my plantar faciitis! But i would love to hear some of everyone else's NSVs!

Please share!

My biggest NSV is that I no longer think in terms of limitations, I think in terms of possibilities.  Life is different since WLS, life is better.  There are so many things that are better, so many things that are possible.  I used to watch people jogging, or doing other forms of exercise and wish that I could be that person.  Now I am that person.  I love exercise, and get cranky in a big way if I can't exercise.  Food used to be my comfort, stress reliever, now exercise is my comfort and stress reliever.

NSVs are so important! I no longer use a cane; I can wrap a bath towel around me with out worrying that something is showing; I can walk faster and even run; my condo is so much cleaner as I have the energy and motivation to put things away and keep on top of things and most importantly I'm able to help my 82 year old Mom and it's not the other way around now! Keep track of your NSVs they will remind you of how far you have come!

100% i want to have these for prosperity! because NSV really are a great measure! Love these - and not walking with a cane is HUGE! Very encouraging!

As a guy for me it's been, joining the buddies to play ice hockey, tucking in my dress shirts and seeing my collar bone for the first time

I have done zip lines and biked all over. I am no longer diabetic or have high blood pressure. I still have some joint issue because I had already done in my joints by the time I had the surgery but I do not let it slow me down. I now love clothes. Maybe a little too much.
