What are you eating/doing today? (Wednesday)

Thanks crqvingchange!

So true what a difference 5 weeks makes!

I miss the early days when I didn't feel hungry at all, I've started to feel hungry again but have for the most part been able to ignore it. I'm thankful I don't get cravings for anything. Right now it's safe for me to eat the same stuff over and over, I'm focusing on high protein and what I know sits well in my sleeve. Plus I've discovered chicken and laughing cow cheese are delicious together! My new way of taco night works well for me too. No shells, wraps, rice or nachos! Thanks for the boost to help me keep doing what I'm doing!

Good morning :)

Had a little sleep in this morning, but it was on the couch with the two puppies... So I don't think it counts lol.

I have two take the little puppy to the vet to get another shot. Because he is so little she wanted to space them out. Then I might take him to see my grandma because he hasn't been socialized enough at other people's houses. Later I have a phone-in meeting that I'm dreading. It always drones on forever and 90% of the content doesn't apply to me directly.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - egg, yogurt

Lunch - taco beef

Snack - pepperette

Dinner - TBD - need to check the freezer for ideas.

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

We had a 'retreat' yesterday. It was just across the street from the office. It was so long and did not have much to do with me. Our office is all about the projects the programmers are involved with and the funding our director finds for us. We have a lot of new projects coming up but really the big comment was we need more staff.

Today work then home. Suppose to go to a meeting tonight but may blow it off. I am having 11 women coming for dinner tomorrow and have to figure out if I can sit them down or buffet. Rather not buffet due to my dog. He is very large and can be a pill. My DH is escaping so he will not be around to watch the dog.

My gut is not in good shape. Probably all the carbas I have been eating. Need to make sure I get all my water in today

b greek yogurt, raspberries, ganola

l 3 oz chicken, SF pudding

s 2 oz chicken

d meatloaf, salad

s laughing cow and crackers.

cal 1059, carb 76, prot98

You are brave to have 11 women for dinner.  I'm pretty sure that I would have trouble coming up with 11 matching plates and cutlery. Is there a bedroom that you can put the pup in so that he stays out of trouble?

The silverware will not match but I have my mother's china that has a lot of settings.

Unfortunately our dog is a big nine year old baby who would whine and bark if put in a room. A hundred pounds of spoiled dog

I'm on Day 1 of Optifast today, so:

B - Vanilla opti with 1 tsp instant coffee granules (didn't have any ice made, it was disgusting, lol)

L - Chocolate Opti shake with ice (so much better when cold!)

D - Vanilla Opti with ice, no coffee (so much better with ice and no coffee)

Snacks - Vanilla Opti with ice, 1.5 cups celery sticks, 1 cup chicken broth

It was hard to get 4 opti's in because I went to the mall and was afraid I wouldn't be able to run to the Lady's room on time, so had a very late lunch.

I drank a lot of water but maybe not enough. I'm not super hungry, but am a bit hungry.

You're doing great Kathy.  Ice is a must with Opti.  For me I needed good coffee to cut the sweetness (I'm not a sweet tooth person).  The Opti phase will pass before you know it.  By day 3 of Opti my flu like symptoms had passed and I really didn't feel hungry at all.  Most days I was unable to get in all 4 shakes.  I was not allowed celery but was allowed broth.  One of the best pieces of advice I got from here was to never trust an Opti fart, lol.

Thank you!  I'm so happy that I am allowed 2 cups of my choice of celery/lettuce/green pepper/cucumber per day.  I really enjoyed the crunchy celery yesterday.

Thank you for the warning about opti farts, LMAO.
