What are you eating/doing Sunday New Year's Day

Happy New Year everyone.  It's 5:30 and I haven't been to sleep yet.  It was a good night and I got to get up and dance to some wonderful music.

Today I will be going to bed soon and hope to sleep until at least noon.  Tonight DH and I are hoping to go to the movies.

The eats today are - protein coffee, egg salad (I have to use it up),  turkey meatballs, SKYR yogurt with hemp, chia, buckwheat and chopped prunes.  I may have a few bites of DH's popcorn at the movies.

Have a great day everyone, and may we all have a great year in 2017 because 2016 was not my favourite year.

Hey that's great to dance your way into the New Year.  I actually made it to watch the ball drop.

I am not sure on my eats today.  Bacon and eggs for breakfast maybe.  Might just have eggs.

Won't be logging but won't be crazy.

Agreed re 2016.

Happy New Year to everyone. Did not make it to midnight but knew I wouldn't. Meet Zizzler yesterday for coffee. Great visit.

Busy day today. Off to church soon. Doing coffee hour. Taking the last of my baking there to get it out of the house. Invited to my sisters this afternoon for 'tea'. Hope she actually serves tea and not just wine.

2016 ended on a great note for me with winning the trip. However I am hoping to start 2017 getting back in shape and back to basics on my meals.

b 1 egg, 2 sl bacon

l turkey soup (mostly the turkey), yogurt

s try to limit my nibbles when out today

d bean and bacon soup, cheese

I hope this is the beginning of a great year for everyone

Pat, I'm so glad you and Zizzler did get a chance to get together for coffee.

There were some high points in 2016 for me, but for the most part it sucked.  I went to too many funerals for people that I cared about.

I would love to have a sister who served wine when she invited me to tea!

Good morning and happy new year!!

The last three days of eating have been bad and the scale reflects that. I'm blaming this cold because I have been snacky and grazing a lot. I think a nap is in my future because we stayed up until after midnight -- I didn't think it was going to happen, but my BF bought champagne and I wanted to toast with him. I took a sip, choked on the bubbles, and gave the rest to him ;)

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - yogurt

Lunch - ham and cheese

Snack - pepperette

Dinner - TBD

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Meg I did the same thing with the champagne.  It was never something that I really liked, but now it just seemed way too fizzy and bitter.
