How much space does 3 weeks of Opti take?
I finished opti just two weeks ago! Was not bad!
Don't go into it worried that you're going to hate it, not worth the stress.
When do you get yours?

Did you have your surgery already then? So glad it wasn't bad for you. I hope all is going well.
I'm getting mine on January 10th, and starting it on the 11th. I'll be on it for 3 weeks. I'm not so much worried about hating it (although I hope I won't); it's more wondering how long it takes to get used to drinking instead of eating every day. I was on slimfast before but was allowed 1 meal a day so never have gone purely liquid before. I was OK with the taste of slimfast.

Hello Kathy,
The Optifast comes in powder form in pre-packaged envelopes. Mine was delivered to work and I was able to carry it home in two in Enviro bags, so it's not too cumbersome or heavy. Although I did empty two boxes out of the actual boxes to make it a bit easier to travel on public transit.
Good luck with your appointment good luck with your appointment!
I didn't mind chocolate plain but vanilla was awful plain. I ended up buying sugar free vanilla syrup from starbucks and adding it to both flavors and actually quite enjoy it now. I have had broth once when I had a headache and it took it away. Apparently my body wanted salt.
After being on it for 6 days. I find I have more energy but have slight headaches still. Today's may me from being up late last night and not having a great sleep.
I do find I'm not having the greatest sleeps while on optifast. Not sure if it's from drinking them or knowing surgery is coming up and being nervous. May say something about that at my preadmit on the 9th. I'm starting to really lack sleep. I have to see my family doctor about getting my swabs for preadmit so I may talk to her first.
After the first 3 days it's been pretty easy. Harder last night being around chips and pizza at a new years party with a bunch of our hockey friends but I did it.
Thanks for the tip about the vanilla sugar free syrup. I'll try to get some while in Toronto next week. We don't have a Starbucks here.
I hope your doctor will figure out why you're not sleeping well. Is there a lot of sugar in the Opti?
Glad it's getting easier; it must have been hard being on Opti over the holidays.
Kathy
