Feb 13th REVISION FROM VSG to RNY!!!

I was wondering if anyone here is having surgery Feb. 13th @ Toronto Western Hospital???

Hi! Just curious, Why are you revising from sleeve to bypass? 

Hello!! I will be 1.5 years out from VSG the end of Jan, I have lost 169lbs and sooo many inches. I started this journey weighing 479lbs, with a whole slew of health problems. so since I was severely obese, my surgeon decided it was best for me and my health to get the VSG first, lose a lot of weight, and then revise to RNY, to give me the best chance at a normal BMI. Also, with being so obese they wouldn't give me the RNY, too many risks of me dying on the operating table. I am thrilled with the journey that they had planned for me!!!

So it wasn't a lack of success! That's AMAZING! Congrats! Good luck with your revision!!
