Congrats! And thanks for sharing - I am excited to see what happens at my appointment to meet the surgeon in Guelph on Thursday. Hopefully I get a close date like you did!!

I'm so happy for you! WOW! That is fast. I will continue to say that. Hope Guelph if still that quick when I get my surgical class done. Lucky you only 1 week of opti! I doubt I'll be that lucky, I'm preparing for 3 weeks. Two weeks, would be a lovely surprise.

I was expecting 2-3 weeks but the surgeon said they go by BMI there and I was just on the border to get 1 week. At TWH I would have been at least 2 weeks, possibly 3.

Congrats Daizymom.... that's exciting!! What an awesome christmas gift! I would love to have less opti too... Sure hope that guelph is an option for me when I get there too... :)

Hmm...I was told it was your weight and how 'fatty' your liver was. My BMI is in the 50s so I've been expecting 3 weeks. If you don't mind sharing or want to pm me, can you tell me your bmi or weight. If your uncomfortable sharing either way I understand...no worries :)

Congratulations, that's wonderful news! Only one week of opti; woohoo! I start opti a day before your surgery but need to be on it for 3 weeks.
