I cant believe I am Under 300 again.
293.7 is my current weight. I dont weigh myself everyday. I had some pain after surgery and after a month and 3 visits to the ER and 3 Cat scans they finally decided to go back in. They were worried about a possible Hernia. Glad to say no Hernia but there was a lot of extra scar tissue and it was pressing on my bowel causing pain. I was relieved to find this out and they Lanced to extra tissue and while my recovery has taken a bit longer than the normal RNY I am grateful and would do it all over again. I have lost over 100lbs from my heaviest and 73 from the start of Opti the NSV's are amazing. I just found out a friend of mine passed away at the age of 40. I am truly lucky for this gift and will always work hard to never let this chance go.
Thank You to all the staff at TWH they are amazing.
Thank you to my beautiful DW LauraLeaffan I couldn't have done this without you and your support.
And to all the OH family your stories are inspiring and helpful.

Thanks Scotti I appreciate it. Also I am a subscriber to your youtube channel. Great stuff. Encourage all newbies to check it out.
Haven't gotten to all your videos yet not sure if you have tackled the subject of eating out. If you have what episode is it if not it would be great to know.

I don't recall one specific episode, but have mentioned it a few times. Basically, no matter where you go, there is always something to eat....unless you are still in the pureed stage... Otherwise, look for healthy choices... chicken, fish. .or even beef... Skip the starch if you want and ask for extra vegetable. Know what you are ordering and think of the portion you will have.. take at least half home... the best part about being a WLS patient, you can have 1 meal and make it last 2 or 3 meals. Don't be discouraged...enjoy new foods!
Cheers,
Skotti
