What happens after the last appointment?

I know that rounds are next, but what happens now?  When should I expect a call? Can I asked to be transferred to Guelph at anytime or how does it work?  

You can call TWH and ask if you've been given the approval for surgery.  When did you complete the appointments? If they say you have been approved, you can ask them if you can be transferred to Guelph. 

Yes I called them today.  They said that my file will go to rounds in the new year because today is the last day at the clinic for the rest of the year.  They said that post rounds they will call me for a "meet the surgeon" and AT THAT TIME I will be given a date.  I said I would like to consider Guelph and she said we can discuss it then...so I guess i have no choice for now but to wait it out...

It really does feel like a long frustrating process. Feel free to vent. (: send me a pm if you prefer. 

Have you done your surgical education class? That comes before meeting the surgeon (at least in my case it was).  Then they send your file to the hospital where you are having surgery (I'm going through Windsor but having surgery at St.Mikes).  It was about 3 weeks before I got a call about my surgeon appointment.  However they did tell me when my pre-admit and surgery would be as well which is lucky for me.

Toronto Western has a nutrition class but no surgical education class as far as I know.
