Transfer from TWH to Guelph

I also switched to Guelph from TWH. Got an appointment with Dr. Reed on Dec 9th and I have my preop appointment Jan 13th and a surgery date of Jan 26th. Two weeks of Optifast vs 3 at TWH. All things pointing upwards :-)

Had you already seen the surgeon at TWH? I guess you have if you were told 3 weeks of opti. ? 

Yes, on November 18th and they wouldn't give me a surgery date. So when the nurse called a few days later and asked if I wanted to switch I was all over it.

I just called Guelph, and they have my file now, so I just have to wait for a date to meet the surgeon. As you can tell, i'm not that great at waiting!

actually, I think you are really great at waiting and are very patient - you seem to have had to wait more than others ... I am so happy for you that it is going along .... there is always a reason .... can't wait to hear of your progress

Thanks. I actually got through my appointments fairly quickly. But I've been waiting since September to see a surgeon.
