Transfer from TWH to Guelph

i think I waited 2 maybe 3 days - even though they didn't have my file -they had my info - give them a call - no harm in trying

I did call on Wednesday and they said they do have my file. So I will wait and if I don't hear anything today I will call again on Monday. ?

Anyway - did you speak to Lori or just the receptionist - if you call back and speak to Lori ext 2787 she is the one who gives the appointments

I still have to attend a surgical class, but I'm going to go to Guelph. I'm surprised by those times after you see the surgeon, that's quick! I wonder how long it will take to get the initial appointment with the surgeon?  Be either in a surgical class next week or January. I was thinking I'd be lucky to get surgery by summer...maybe not lol

I've seen what you've posted, and you've been waiting a long time, and that sucks with all the TWH cancellations. Hope you get in quick, and good luck to you!

When I talked  to the administrator at Guelph last week she told me it's moving very quickly for them.  I don't have to attend a surgical class though- is that through Windsor?  She told me once they get my file, I will get an appointment with the surgeon, and then I have to come in for pre-op stuff and then I will have surgery.

Yes, I'm going through Windsor. Guelph and Toronto have different post op diets, that's why we do a surgical class.  Although, honestly I thought everyone had to do a surgical class.

I'm assuming since you were going through TWH, that they probably told you their dietary post op plan since it was the site your were suppose to have your surgery at.

I'm sure Guelph will go over their post op diet with you. I hope you get an appointment with the doctor soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I know waiting sucks! lol
