So much snow! Since I had surgery on Oct 21 I'm not supposed to shovel still... so I got myself snow removal service. It was $450 for the ENTIRE SEASON... they came four times this weekend alone. I'll be so glad not to shovel again this winter!

Went to meet a couple of old colleagues for lunch, that's factored in here.

Breakfast: 2 turmeric turkey meatballs + kimchi

Lunch: tomato / pepper puree soup with spoon of sour cream (restaurant)

Dinner: chili, some melted cheese

Snacks: Vegan brownie bite (just made them last night lmk if you want the details), baby bell cheese, tea with collagen peptides

671 cal, 50 g protein, 46 g net carbs.

Protein is a little low for me and carbs maybe a little high, but my body still says it's in ketosis so I'm not super worried. Will add a Turkey stick if I get hungry before bed for some extra protein.

Maybe!

It's this: http://www.vitalproteins.com/health/collagen-peptides.html

This is generally good for you, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm realllllly trying to minimize hair loss. :)

Not sure Toronto Girl (you might have to do a search on the RNY forum) but I think that WLS patients have trouble absorbing collagen proteins.  If you are trying to keep your protein numbers high to prevent hairloss (sorry, but it still might happen) you could try adding in an RTD shake like Premier Protein which is 30 grams of protein.  I had high protein numbers from whey protein isolate, and I still lost a lot of hair.  Good news is that it grew back better.  Most people didn't notice, but I did when it started falling out on my hats and scarves.

Thanks for the advice. I understand it's not a complete protein source plus I generally get enough protein from food or I grab an isolate shake. It's for things like hair, skin and nails (among other great body things) - even if I absorbed half of it, it would be more vs without!
