So hard to be patient

Thanks I guess the cancellation bothered me more than I realized. I was counting down to Nov 25!! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for Jan 6. ?

Hi.  I know what you mean about the process being so long.  For me, nothing seemed real until I met the surgeon via telehealth and he approved me.  Before that, it was all like a vague dream (or nightmare, depending on my anxiety) that couldn't possibly happen.

I'm kind of cautiously excited right now.  I spoke with the co-ordinator at Guelph. She told me there is no requirement to see the surgeon at TWH before my file is transferred to Guelph. They'd prefer that I just see their surgeon. I've left a message at TWH to please have my file transferred as soon as possible. The lady at Guelph told me I can reasonably expect a date of January or February. I'm really hoping for January. 

awesome - that makes sense to just see their surgeon - why waste time seeing them at TWH when you have to redo everything at Guelph anyway.

PS - the appt I cancelled was Dec 16th :)
