Good news...I think???
Well I had my Surgeon Appt last Friday at TWH.
Was told they were not giving out any surgery dates - and they did not know when they would start again - bummer....
Much to my surprise - I received a call on Tuesday from TWH - saying that they wanted to transfer my file over to Guelph - as they are doing surgeries in January!! This made me smile - because all along I was hoping for a January surgery (not sure why - but I was).
Of course I said yes!! Now I am patiently waiting of that phone call form Guelph to give me some good news :)
Do any of you know if I will have to now go to Guelph to meet the surgeon again - or will I simply wait for my pre-op appt to meet them?

I was also seen at TWH on Friday last week, however I knew what my options were prior to going in as I had spoken to the manager of the clinic and she stated that she would be giving people options to be seen at other hospitals. As soon as I left TWH i called her and had my file transferred to Guelph. I am meeting wtih my surgeon on Thursday to book date, sign release and consent forms and buy opti.
The nurse at Guelph said its faster if im able to see the surgeon in person, as opposed to telehealth --- i opted to do the 45 minute drive. And you are correct, they are booking towards the end of Jan right now.
