Good morning everyone.  Looks like today will be a nice day.  That means I will be out in the yard doing fall cleanup today.

Birdie your menu looks so yummy today, especially your Caprese salad.  For me today the eats are - Protein coffee (drinking it now), scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, salad with goat cheese, a steaming hot bowl of soup when I come in from doing yardwork.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning,

Both your menus look delicious.

I am working a 12 hour shift and currently on day 2 of a 2 day organic cold pressed juice cleanse.  I've also brought some fruits and veggies if the hunger gets too bad or I feel sluggish.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi Amy - I love juice cleanses. Just curious how far out you are? No issues with the sugar in it?

I thought I would never be able to do this again so was happy to see someone post this! I especially love charcoal lemonade... Something tells me that is out.

I suspect Amy is pre-surgery

Juice is not a good idea post surgery.  Too much sugar and calories.  No bang for your post surgery buck.

Hi Toronto Girl.

I'm 5 years post op RNY.  There is little to no sugars in the cleanse that I just completed.  They are cold pressed organic juices made with veggies, I order them from a juice press bar near my house (urban juice press)

I haven`t had any issues with this particular cleanse I opted for the advanced all veggie and no nut juice cleanse.  I`ve tried the charcoal lemonade - more power to you if you can tolerate them, I can barely get in a few sips ... I have to pinch my nose and chug a little lol

I`m trying to clean out my system and reboot and try to ease my way into a more plant based diet.

How far out are you ?

Please, just ensure you fulfill your daily protein requirements.   I know people can do it eating plant based.  It is more difficult to reach your daily targets but certainly not impossible with supplementation.
