TWH November Surgeon appointments being cancelled

I know 3 people that have had their November appointments rescheduled to January- any one else? Mine is November 25, and I haven't heard anything. 

My appointment has also been rescheduled to January 6th.

That is a drag - sorry. But you're talking about surgical consultations being rescheduled, correct? Not actual surgeries? (I am trying not to panic at the thought of more weeks on Optifast...)

Did you ask them why?

Did they tell you why they changed it???  Hoping it doesn't get pushed back even farther....

It was a message so I didn't get to ask and called back and got voicemail.  The message said none of the surgeons are available.  The other people I know asked and didn't get an explanation.

Maybe with all the surgeries being done out of TWH now, they are clearing a backlog from the other hospitals?

Someone said that maybe they've reached their limit for Ohip for the year. 

Its because they are completely backlogged until LATE MARCH 2017... they are not allowing anyone for the rest of the year meet with the surgeons.... they really need to get their acts together.... so 4-6 months out is when they are booking for in January if they start booking is what i was told...
