Protein Powder

Hi everyone,

My surgery was on Tuesday and was discharged home Thursday. I am doing extremely well except for one problem. I know that I am not getting enough protein. I can't find UNFLAVOURED protein powder. I simply cannot choke down the vanilla or chocolate stuff. Right now I am trying to sip the Premier Protein drinks but can only get a fraction of the protein I need by doing this.

Can anyone recommend where to buy unflavoured protein powder?

Just so you know, the chocolate and vanilla are to hide some of the taste.  Unflavored protein powder smells and tastes like sour milk.

You can get unflavoured at any health food store too. Maybe try to get the best one - Isolate - so that it is minimizing the sour taste.

Bulk Barn sells unflavoured whey protein isolate protein powder.  You can buy as much or as little as your want.  Just remember do not heat whey protein isolate too much or it will clump up.  Add it to your strained cream soup after it is heated.

Gnc carries lots of choice as well.  But you need to buy giant tubs.  I am drinking premier protein from Costco...it is the only protein drink I can tolerate and on has 30 grams...

Have you ever tried kaizen protein powder from costco? it has 35 grams of protein and the taste is very light...not really sweet, not very chocolates i really like it...

i ordered my unflavoured protein powder from a canadian company it had 27 grams of protein per scoop and as long as you dont add to something over 140 degrees it wont clump.   They also sell samples so you can try it before buying.
