I'm not sure how I'm going to survive 3 whole weeks.

Only day 2 and I feel like giving up.

The taste itself doesn't bother me.

Its being hungry all the time and having a headache the entire day that's killing me.

All i I want right now is Popeyes, haha ;(

The 1st 3 - 4 days are the toughest, once you hit ketosis you the hunger subsides a lot. 3 weeks will fly by so quickly you will wonder where the time went. Hang in there you got this and just think of the end results, you are so close The worst part for me was the taste omg no matter what I did they just made me shiver lol so I just chugged them down quickly.

Good luck and tell yourself Popeyes is toxic lol

I had this. I ate veggies. About half the programs say it's ok, 1-2c a day of the low sugar kind (cucumber, celery, lettuce). It literally made everything better.

My liver was perfect at surgery and I lost 15lbs. :-)

Hang in there. The first 3 days are the worse. If you can do the raw peppers and cucumbers, do that. I sprinkled them with those already mixed up spices. (like Greek style flavour ). Also, I chewed a lot of sugar free (extra brand) gum. Just the chewing motion helps your brain into feeling full .

I'm on my last 2 days, surgery is on Nov 2nd.  What I found to help me was using flavouring.  I used Crystal light or flavour extract, or liquid sugar free Kool Aide. Thank goodness for them.  I won't miss the Optifast

Hang in there ... you can get through this. I was on 3 weeks of Opti and was so afraid I would cave but I just kept telling myself I have not come all this way to screw up in the last 3 weeks.  The headache and hunger will pass, you've got this! Sending you positive vibes!!!
