Happy to hear you're doing great!

i have to agree about the pain. They never gave me nothing stronger than Tylenol, and the last time I took it was when I got home from the hospital.

i have a little bit of gas still on my left side that's trying to get out, so that's a little uncomfortable. Otherwise I think I'm doing ok for day 5 post op

So happy that you're doing well and not in pain!  That's amazing.

My challenge is winter, I think.  All through the process, I've asked for a spring, summer or fall surgery date, explaining that winter will provide extra challenges because I"m in Northern Ontario and we get a LOT of snow.  I have severe asthma and can't walk outside when it's cold.  Now I was told I'll get a call and will probably have my pre surgery visit with the team in Toronto in December, start opti, and then have surgery in January.  I just feel like it's going to be too much for me.  I can fly to Toronto instead of driving (a 10 hour drive in winter), so that will work, but when I get home I wanted to walk daily and won't be able to do so...they don't even plow the sidewalks here.  I could walk in the mall instead, but that will mean getting a ride there as my truck doesn't work well in winter and I can't afford a new one.  I will get past the obstacles but I just wish I could do it in the spring, or even now, before the snow falls, instead.
