Meeting NP on monday
on 10/15/16 11:57 am - Brampton , Canada
The NP will weigh you, go over your personal and family health history. Measure your waistline, check your lungs and heart, go over your blood work and go over your knowledge of the surgery.
I also had good meetings with both the social worker and the nurse practitioner. I booked OTN appointments for both, so a nurse in Midland took my vitals, weighed and measured me, and got me connected to Karyn. We went over my medical history, family history, and was asked questions about what I had learned in orientation about the types of surgery. It was a great conversation and I learned a lot (again). No worries and a great deal of gratification going through this process. Nutritional class coming up in November, then I understand we will get a list of our next two appointments with the dietician and psychologist. My journey, so far, has been great. Information through this forum also helps a great deal.
Good luck, No worries.
Linda
