I may be a weird one
Aww you're not so weird lol ... I had no problem with either vanilla or chocolate and did not use any syrups either ... which I thought was weird lol. I usually had vanilla through the day and then my last one was chocolate without so much water in it so that it was like a pudding. Three weeks will fly by!

I had no problem with the chocolate Opti. I didn't know about adding flavors to it. I just split my day up to have my 4 shakes, and had a sf jello as a treat at night. And a bottle of water (with crystal light iced tea added) at least in between. I liked not having to think about what I was eating. And I don't remember being hungry either.
3 weeks will go fast, trust me.

Opti was not the most pleasant part of this journey for me and I had to do 3weeks but it did fly by very quickly with a plus of a 18 lbs weight loss so I guess it wasn't so bad after all :-). Adding sf syrups does make it go down better. One of my favorite recipe was the chocolate with instant decaf coffee and cinnamon dolce sf syrup i bought at starucks, it was actually pretty good.
Hang in there and good luck.
