RNY  7 Years 6 Months Post Op

Morning

Heading into Toronto this morning  for a one day  "schooling".  It will be numbers all day so I hope to stay awake.  Fortunately,  the building I walk to isn't far from Union Station.   Ti-Cat game tonight so I  must make the 4pm train home.  Will also have the Jays game on while watching football.

Not sure on lunch today.  Last time I attended one of these events, the food was really carby with a bit of chicken.  Taking a protein bar in case..  Will also eat before I go to the game to prevent me from grabbing a poor choice.

STEPS :   8905

EATS

B  -  2 large eggs

L  -  3 oz chicken

S -  Quest protein bar

D - 4 oz rotisserie chicken with 1 TB of light mayonaise

S -  oikos greek yogurt

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are :   Calories  -  833,  Carbs  -  29 Grams,  Protein -  88 Grams

IF I have a glass of red at the game it will bring my calories just over 1000.  Going to try not to but we'll see

All water and vits

Have a great one

It varies depending on how far out from surgery. You will just concentrate on protein the first few months.  I ate approx 400 for months 1 -3.

I am trying to lose..  In maintenance I can handle 1500-1800.

Sorry, gotta run

Good morning everyone.  Birdie enjoy your trip to Toronto.

This morning I'm going swimming, then doing some shopping, getting back in the garden, and tonight I want to just chill and watch the Jay's game.  DH wanted to go to a sports bar and watch the game, but I just want to be in my PJ's with my feet up.  On the menu today is the leftover cabbage and chicken meatball soup.  It was good, but DH hates the smell of cooked cabbage so I probably won't make it again until he goes away on business.  I have to use up the Greek yogurt so that will also be on the menu, and maybe a protein latte if I go near Starbucks.

Have a great day everyone.  I'm drinking my decaf right now with Restoralax mixed in.

Hey girls, mixed emotions this morning.....pulled out a pair of my older (smaller) jeans this morning and they're too baggy....sort of annoyed me, dumb right?  So I grab another pair I haven't worn in while and they were more than baggy, like fall off my hips and that made me laugh!  Well then throw that dang scale in the mix and we have a whirlwind of pissed-offness!! I've been on plan all week and it will not move....oh if I shuffle it around the floor to a different spot it may lose a few ounces but come on!!  END OF RANT

Put my new dress on for the hubby last night and he's like, look you've got hips!!   Nice of him to notice!!

Nothing going on at all today, work or home....

B - 1 egg, 2 slices pemeal, 1 slice cheese

S - 4 slices cracker cut Colby Jack with 75 gr of kolbassa

L - 2 Italian chicken sausage

S - 1 buffalo chicken sausage

D - sheppards pie (3oz beef, 2oz taters)

S - hoping I don't need one, calories are high enough

Totals - Cal 952, carbs 20, protein 94 (how all that meat and only 94 protein ??)

Have a good Friday!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Breakfast - protein soft serve

Snack - egg, cheese

Lunch - chicken leftovers

Snack - pepperette, nuts

Dinner - chicken and salad

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Hi there Meggles ... I have to ask as I've seen this on a number of 'what are you eating' posts ... what is protein soft serve ... I'm curious as I'm trying to change things up with my breakfast. Thanks, Cathy

My mom got me hooked on it... I toss 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 scoop of chocolate protein powder, a splash of sf torani syrup, and 6-7 ice cubes in the ninja blender until it's the consistency of soft serve. Sometimes I put in a little bit of frozen banana. Shakes and protein powder technically aren't on my plan, but I'm having a phase ;) I eat it with a spoon.
