Anyone interested in the five day meat test next week?

RNY 6 mos + Post Op

Good morning ladies,

Another summery day today, I'm not ready to let go yet so its capris and sandals today, and a very baggy top .  However, I have a wedding to go to on Saturday so my girlfriend is taking me shopping tonight, simply because I don't know where small(er) people go to shop!  Hubby gave me some cash for my birthday last week to help restock the wardrobe so hopefully have some success with that tonight!

B - 1 egg, cheese slice, 84 gr pemeal bacon

S - greek  yogurt

L - 130 gr pot roast

S - 2 oz deli ham, 30 gr old cheddar

D - ?? something protein before or after my shopping marathon

S - unlikely

Totals (so far) Cal 692, Carbs 25, Protein 71 (these numbers look decent without my dinner, so should round out to be a good day)

Have a great Wednesday, all down hill from here!

** edited to add....I'm up for an all meat week!, bring it on!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Hi Ginny!

I have the same issue of where to shop for smaller size clothes! I don't know how old you are (I'm in my 40's) but I found Torrid has a wide selection of sizes and I was able to find a dress for a wedding there, as well as some nice tops and leggings. Might be worth a try!

Thanks!  Also in my 40's but we don't have a Torrid around here.  I've never heard of that store!

If I find myself in Toronto I will be sure to check it out!

There is a Torrid in Masonville. I know you are from around London. :)

Good morning Barb.  I'd be interested in it. Can you tell me more?

Hi monica.  It replaces the old 5 day pouch test which was ridiculous. . You eat only meat, condiments ok, for 5 days to kick carbs to the curb.  You can either eat all meat or add eggs, chicken fish

Good morning :)

Going to run some errands this morning, then hopefully a quick meeting, and then taking the dog to the vet.

I have a new weird favourite night time snack -- fibre one cereal with milk and a splash of salted caramel sf torani. I was thinking it's so weird now to realize, that that constitutes a sweet treat for me. Before it would have been a large bag of chocolate covered almonds, or some other chocolatey treat. Of course my meals have been a bit weird lately in general as I have been cleaning out my cupboards and reevaluating my meal choices.

Breakfast - protein soft serve

Snack - egg, cheese

Lunch - pepperette, pickles

Snack - carrots and pb

Dinner - zucchini lasagna

Snack - fibre one

All water and vits.

Morning all. I've had a fe MRI's in my time and they are not the most comfortable things out there. Just close your eyes and if you don't have to do the breathing stuff, sleep. Thats what i did when i had my knee done. Good luck.

I'm in for the all meat week. This time of the year is hard with all the goodies about. I didn't indulge as much over thanksgiving but i need to be consistent with my choices more frequently.

Nothing planned today, will go for a walk around town and make some photocopies, then Boxfit tonight.
