Nov. 14 Orientation (Windsor) - Anyone?

Thanks for the information that was insightful.

Your first appointment with the surgeon did he/she give you an appointment date then? How long was your appointment? Was your appointment on time?

I have to admit, if I end up going to Guelph, I believe the Surgeon you meet is the one that does your surgery. That might tempt me to actually go to Guelph for the appointment, but until I get to that stage I don't have to commit to that yet. It is nice to know that I could get it done here in London (I'm assuming) if I want to. It's nice they have these options, do enough driving to Windsor for all these appointments lol

Thanks so much

There was some technical issues with the computer so the meeting didn't start on time, but I don't think it was 20 mins long.  He gave me my surgery date but then they had to call me back with the next telehealth appointment.  Every centre is different I would imagine this is just my experience at TWH.

Yes, the driving to Windsor was a pain in the butt but we do what we have to, right.

Good luck with the process.

Hey!

I'm from London too and going through Windsor .

The drive hasn't been bad. I like it better leaving super early in the morning because there are less trucks out vs leaving mid morning.  :)

I'm hoping the snow holds off! Once it's winter and I have to go down I may just stay in a hotel there.
