Hey dhamd032!
Congrats on your recent surgery. It might seem a little daunting, but you can make it happen. One thing that I found, was that I thought I wasn't getting enough fluids in for the first week... but really, you have just been through major surgery. I didn't dwell on it though. Do your best to get in all the fluids that you can. Don't forget that there is a chance, and it is normal, that you don't get all your protein or calories in for the first little while. I almost forgot about that around day 3 or 4.... but then I was reminded not to worry, and again, do my best. I did my best and before I knew it, I was right on track.
Focus on protein drinks, sip sip sip...walk walk walk and get your water in as best as you can.
Good luck!
Cheers,
Skotti
