What are you eating/doing Friday?
Woohoo! Friday of a long weekend!! Doesn't get better than that!
Nothing on the go today at work, will try and cut out early because we are going camping for the long weekend at Elora Gorge. Likely the last camping trip of the season which is good for the diet but also makes me sad.
Yesterday at the follow up of course the dietician told me to eat more carbs....veggies and fruit. She said your body needs a minimum of 130 grams to function....I think I've been doing pretty good at minimal carbs but we'll see. Its not that I don't like veg and fruit but by the time I eat my protein who has room?
I'm down 79.3 lbs since my first weigh in at the Centre a year ago now! Who would have thought that possible. When I think about it though I'm only down about 43 lbs since surgery, which yes seems like a lot, I know the speech, but I see others who have lost so much more in the same time.
Anyway enough whining or maybe reflecting is a better word! LOL Here's what I got for today!
B - 1 egg, 1 slice cheese, 1 slice 35 cal whole grain toast
S - 2 oz egg salad
L - 100 gr pulled turkey, 89 gr cucumber slices
S - 3 oz deli turkey, 1 jalepeno cheese stick
D - 1-1/2 chicken sausage (red pepper/mozz)
TOTALS: Cal 911 (really!!) Carbs 36, Protein 89
If I need a snack tonight it will likely be cheese.

Off to school today. We have friends coming over tonight that just got engaged. We get to see the ring and be nosy!!
We have lots of family dinners this weekend, so eating is up in the air a bit. It also means we will be busy driving all over. Hopefully we can get some down time too :)
Breakfast - protein soft serve
Snack - pepperette, moon cheese
Lunch - fajita filling
Snack - cashews, apricots
Dinner - chicken, cheese, veg
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
Good morning Ginny. Glad you had a good visit at your centre. Camping sounds like fun. I am enjoying my semi-retirement by having Friday off. I will be checking my work e-mail because of our up-coming convention but intend to enjoy this beautiful weather. Off for a walk with the dog shortly.

Morning all. Have fun camping Ginny and it sounds like your visit to the clinic went well. I actually got the day off today and will enjoy it for sure. I'll go do some thanksgiving shopping, then the gym at 5 for step and zumba. I did well yesterday and i got 15,656 steps. That was a great motivator for me, so i will try to top that today.
