TWH preop appt

Hi all

Can TWH patients comment please. Do you have to bring anything with you? How long does it take? Getting anxious about upcoming appt.

The Pre-op appointment is really just a final check up, you meet with the pharmacist, Nurse and anesthesiologist. You get weighed, blood work and an ECG. I had my appointment for 7am and was done by 11:30am. Hope this helps.

No problem glad to help. At the receptions desk when you check in and they ask for your blue hospital card and ask questions to verify it's you and inquire if you a want semi private room and they will take our insurance info etc.  You should have signed for the surgery when you met the surgeon. The pre-op room is on the 1st floor, if you are coming in the Nassau St entrance once you go down the few steps there is a hallway you will turn left then just walk a short distance and you will come to another hallway to turn left again and you will see the blood lab, the pre-op office is across from the lab.
