Ottawa - Dr yelle?

Anyone have him? I met Dr Mamaza but scheduled with dr. Yelle.

Had him 6 months ago! I felt his was great and have had great results from the surgery.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with info. No powder metamucil only pills with opti and post, vitamins, instructions etc

I start opti in a few weeks.

It does get easier. 6 months out and I am very comfortable with my "new normal":). Once you are post-op and doing what you have learned, you get into a routine pretty quick!!

Dr. Yelle did my RNY 18 months ago. He's a great surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. You are in good hands with him.

Dr. Yelle is great, I had him 5.5 years ago.

As for it getting easier, yes it does.  Take it one step at a time.  You may or may not need the metemucil, I never took it.  But listen to what your body tells you.  That will be the biggest thing to learn in the next while, and you will do that for the long term.

When is your surgery? Been on optifast since Monday. Ordered some celebrate 2 in 1 sugar free chewable vitamin online. The civic will have them soon but i was worried not to have them on time. You only need to take four of those a day, AFTER surgery no other vitamins needed :)
