What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)

Good morning everyone.  The weather was perfect yesterday.  So perfect that I got a sunburn, lol.

Today lots of chores to do around the house.  I think I will try to stay indoors and out of the sun.  

My meals today will be good protein choices (some SKYR yogurt for sure) and I think I will make a small crockpot full of soup.

Loving the weather!! I also got a small sunburn on my right knee -- that was the only part of me in the sun at the baseball game.

Today we have our last bathroom contractor coming to give a quote. I'm not loving the price estimates we have been getting -- they are much higher than we had budgeted.

Now that the weather is cooling off I will get the dog out for more walks. I need to keep busy on my days off... That's when I eat too much.

Breakfast - protein soft serve

Snack - egg, yogurt

Lunch - cheese, pepperette

Snack - unknown

Dinner - chicken and veg

Snack - popcorn 

All water and vits.

It's crazy how much they charge for a bathroom.  Sometimes more than a car.  However, nothing dates a house more than an old bathroom.  Remember those bathrooms that had Pepto Bismo pink toilets, sinks and tubs?

The bathroom in the house I grew up in had coral pink and black tiles.  It was pretty painful to look at.

Our current bathroom is just a mismatch of fixtures.  The worst parts are the shower surround which was painted white by the previous owner, but being in the shower, the paint is peeling.  It's quite gross.  The other weird thing is the floor.  They broke up tiles to give it a mosaic look, but it is a poor DIY job.

Your bathroom really does sound like it needs renovating.  DIY bathroom reno's are sometimes harder to fix.

Great Football game yesterday. Sorry Barb your Ticats lost this time. I did not dress warm enough this morning. My DH let me sleep in and threw off my schedule. So far work has been brutal with problems to solve. We have key card access. Although I recently sent them an up-dated list of people who should have access they have managed to deactivate almost everyone.

although my scale says I have not gained, a pair of pants did not fit today. This I better try on my dress for the wedding. I definitely gain it in the hips

Pat I love that dress and jacket.  No more snap pea crisps for you until after the wedding, lol.  You are going to be stunning in all of the wedding photos.  Your new DIL will be jealous.

My blood pressure has been a little low. This is why the crisps. Only 100 calories so not too worried. Fortunately the dress still fits

Hi Pat, I gain first in the belly and lose first in the chest, it is not a good scene. Glad to hear your dress still fits.  It still amazes me how I feel a few gained pounds so much, my clothes literally feel tighter!
