Good afternoon everyone! I'm one week post op and doing great ! I've been able to tolerate everything that just have tried , I haven't felt hunger yet and also don't ever feel full , I'm a little confused on my water intake I'm getting the recommended 2-4 cups of water plus drinking other fluids like milk , protein shakes , tomato juice & broth , but I'm just not sure how much I should drink in one sitting ? Like do I still need to drink that little medicine cup every 15 mins ? Can I consume more then that ? Is there a limit of water that I should not pass in one sitting ? I'm taking small sips and limiting how much I drink but I'm so thirsty that I just feel like I want to keep drinking, I don't, I stop and wait another 15 mins, (hope that made sense)

Weighed myself today , 1st time since the day of surgery, down 10 lbs this week ! That puts my grand total to 56 lbs down ! I look and feel great !

I think you can drink more then every 15 minutes at this point, just keep it to small sips don't guzzle. I've found that when I'm really thirsty (especially when its hot out) sucking on ice chips or small ice cubes really help. Congrats, sounds like you're doing great!!

The med cup is really just for the first day or so to give you an idea on how much to drink. If you can get in more water go for it. If you take to big a gulp you'll feel it. Just sip sip sip
