How's everyone doing?
I had my nutrition class yesterday and feel inspired. I see Dr.cheung next Wednesday and see the social worker on the 30th.
Hoping to get my dietician appointment booked soon so I can let work know I'll be off that day. I'm in London and going through Windsor so it's a good chunk of my day .
I felt like it was slow but now that I have these appointments feels faster and more real.
Hello there, I had my surgery at Humber on June 6th. From orientation to surgery was just over a year. I have been lucky no complications. It felt a bit over whelming the first few weeks. Just follow your surgeons orders and you should be fine. You'll get in a routine and before you know it you'll be losing like crazy. I've lost 45 lbs and am off of 3 meds so far. Also am in the process of getting off the C-PAP machine. I couldn't be happier.
Hi! I haven't checked in much since surgery - I try to stay more active and open on Instagram (I love photos!)... Find me @need.to.run.81.rny - I had surgery on May 6th, and I'm 79lbs down (including Opti). Summer has been great, and I just got my clearance to start working out, so I'm super excited for that!!!
I am with Dr Hunh (pronounced "win").
My only advice is make sure you know about the surgery - the phases you'll go through afterward, what the actual procedure is, the cost, and the potential side effects. They "quizzed" me to make sure I knew what I was getting into.
Beyond that, it is a really simple series of conversations. Be honest and I am sure you will do just fine ?
