RNY  7 Years 4 Months Post Op 

Morning

Tried the Peking Duck last night.   Delicious.   I have prepared duck before but always found it a pain getting all the grease out of it.  This was grease free and crispy.  Also had some rice.  Ughh.  I feel so bloated this morning.  Rice and pasta sit like lead.  I rarely eat them due to the high carb/low nutrition.    

Lots on the go today.   Hoping to fit a pedicure in there somewhere.  Forgot to check my fitbit  last night., so no steps listed today.

EATS 

B  -  2 large eggs mashed with 1 TB of light mayonaise 

S  -  2 slices of Canadian bacon 

L  -  1. 5 cups of steak and vegetable soup 

D  -  5 oz baked pork tenderloin 

       1/4 cup of gravy from a packet 

       1.5 cups of sweet kale salad 

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are :   Calories  -  1,101,  Carbs  -  67 Grams,   Protein  -  96 Grams 

 

All water and vits

Good morning everyone.  I got a little more sleep last night, but was up at 5:00 this morning.

 Today is a busy day for me.  This morning is swimming, then giving a friend a ride home, yoga, meeting a friend for coffee and lunch (might see what soup they have), errands and chores then Zumba.  

This morning I've had 2 protein coffees in the past couple of hours.  I have Greek yogurt in the fridge but can't seem to face it this morning.  Never had my soup yesterday, so maybe tonight I will make that my dinner.  I picked up tomato/cabbage soup from a restaurant so I'm hoping it tastes a little like a cabbage roll.  I guess picky pouch days are better than ravenous pouch days.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

Good morning everyone!  Yesterday was tediously boring at work.  Man its tough putting in eight hours.  I have a meeting this morning and a tender closing this afternoon, so a little something to do, although not near enough.

4-1/2 months post op

B - source greek, with 1/4 vector granola

S - 1 egg smashed with 1 tbsp. light mayo (maybe I should try 2 eggs next time fill me up better)

L - 3 oz homemade meatballs in tomato sauce, 2 ****tail tomatos and some cucumber slices

S - 2 slices deli turkey, cheese snack and a dill pickle

D - chicken breast on spinach salad with strawberries, blueberries, and blueberry goat cheese with 2 tbsp. poppy seed dressing (carb laden with fruit :-(

Room for a snack if needed maybe a protein shake, we'll see

Totals (no evening snack) Cal 833, Carbs 54 , protein 85

I do know that. Good thing I love me my water!  Some days tougher than others. That's why I plan. My extra snacks at work are protein bars and nuts! But even still I feel guilty if they're above my "plan".

Morning all. So sleepy this am as i have to have my hair done. I'm having it braided and it's usually a 5 hr appt. So i have to wake up, make sure i have some coffee, straighten my hair first as it is really nappy, or else it will take even longer to braid it. Oh well, to look pretty you have to sacrifice some sleep, lol.

Hopefully i will get back home early, run a few errands then boxing tonight.

2 1/2 yrs post op

B - Coffee 5%, 2 scrambled egg with salsa

S - can sweet chilli thai tuna

L - 1 chicken thigh, 1/2 cup cucumbers

S - silk unsweetened

D - 3.5oz whitefish, 1/3 cup lima beans

S - 1/2 cup steel cut oats, 1 tbsp pb.

Calories: 777, carbs 43, fat 34, protein, 78.

Will add another protein snack in there somewhere. Have a great day all, Nia.

Five hours!. Wow I could not last sitting for 5 hours. That is certainly suffering for beauty. LOL
