New to OH and loving the success stories on here!

I am new to the OH world and am in the beginning of the process awaiting the final meeting with the nurse on Aug 19/16.  The next step will be to meet with the doctor in Toronto and to schedule the surgery.  From North Bay and haven't seen too many posts from this area.  Looking forward to discussing and hopefully getting some advice which the "what's next"!!!  Hello to all!!

You sound like you are really close to hitting the loosers bench!  Exciting times.

Sure am!  Very excited about every stage. A wee bit nervous too although excitement trumps that!!

My best friend lives in Powassan and I have to go to North Bay for work every couple of months. 

I still have to see the dietitian and psychologist and then I will get to meet the surgeon. 

Sounds like you're almost on the same timeline as me for the operation :)

Pretty close but I think once you're at this stage that Humber moves more quickly.

I believe I am going to Toronto, actually I have no idea :(  I'm just hoping that it isn't before TIFF as I've already got my tickets for that week in September!

Yes, I had all my appts on the same day, but had a bit of a delay as I was Vitamin D deficient.   Now final Nurse appt Aug 19th :)

When was your orientation? We may have been at the same one. :)
