Good morning :)

Another hot day -- just took the puppy out and could barely breathe in the humidity.

I'm taking it easy for the next couple days. I have a recurring lower back injury and I can feel it coming back. If I throw my back out I'm usually out of commission for a week or two while it heals. So I need to try and be proactive and start stretching and exercising it gently. Unfortunately ibuprofen was my go-to med, so I won't be touching that.

Breakfast - yogurt, banana, fibre one

Snack - carrots and pb

Lunch - chicken, veg

Snack - leftover beef

Dinner - steak

Snack - protein pop

All water and vits.

I find that yoga stretches help my back.  They advise to always stretch slowly on an exhale.

Morning all.

Those are really good totals G. Keep up the good work. Try to take it easy with the back Meg, CC's yoga could be a good idea and pls don't kill hubby when he gets home Barb, lol.

Unlike everyone else who enjoys Friday, i dread it as i have to go to work at 2pm. I really hope they behave this weekend as I'm not in the mood for them this weekend. I will walk to work as it seems faster than driving with all the construction. I've also been getting pretty good steps in, so i want to keep that going.

2 1/2 yrs post op

B - Coffee 5%, 2oz oxtails, 1/2 cup boiled okra

S - 1 boiled egg

L - extra lean ground chicken, 1/3 cup zoodles

S - 1/4 cup tuna, 1/4 quest bar i couldn't finish last night

D - chicken thigh, 1/4 cup sweet potato, 1/4 cup green beans

Calories: 872, carbs 37, fat 41, protein 105
