Question for Anyone Who Goes to Dr Glazer or Has Dr Huynh....

ok,,, as i posted earlier, my surgery is Sept 23.  I had my initial appt with Dr Glazer and he passed me in the office and told me to let Dr Huynh's office know.  He didn't order any additional tests.  I also don't have any real medical issues other that being overweight and arthritis.  do I need to be concerned that I haven't been sent for any untrasounds or endoscopy etc??  I just read that others who have seen Dr Glazer have to get some additional test....I am excited everything is moving along quickly for me, but I also don't want to be overlooked for anything.

Please advise!

He never ordered any additional tests for me so don't worry. Just call Dr Huynh. He was my surgeon as well!

I dont think you should be concerned at all. I never had any additional tests because of Dr. Glazer. Good fr you....moving along at a fast pace. So did you make an appt with Dr. Huynh. When do you start Optifast?

My surgery date is Sept 23!  I have to go see Dr Huynh on August 16th to get my opti...I will to two weeks of the opti :) 

they were actually going to schedule me for September 1 for surgery, but I asked if I could do it a little later.  I have 2 little boys that I want to make sure are settled in at school first :) 

Dr. Huynh was my surgeon February 24.2016,,,you are in good hand.he is very professional and good personality,no worries,everithink gonna be fine))

I'm not on the forum much and a little late replying to this, but I had the exact same situation.  I felt so bizarre leaving Dr. Glazer's office with nothing more to do.  I'd heard that the majority of people who leave the internist's office have more testing to do.

I like you, had no other comorbidities.  So YAY nothing more to do.  No additional tests!
