RNY 7 Years 3 Months Post Op 

Morning 

Awake too early thinking about the full day ahead.  Meetings throughout the day and a golf match late this afternoon.   I should have no problem getting my steps in today.

EATS 

B -  1.5 skoulakis pork kebabs 

      2 TB of tzatziki 

 

L -  4 large Grilled shrimp with 1 cup of grilled veggies 

 

S before golf - 1 pork kebab  with 1 TB of tzatziki 

 

D-1 pork kebab with 1 TB of tzatziki 

 

S-Source Greek yogurt

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are : Calories -  1025,  Carbs  -  23 Grams,   Protein  -  157 Grams,  Fibre  -  5 grams

 

All water and vits

Good morning.  I was up early because of the thunderstorm.  Nothing like being awoken by a storm and then cleaning the downstairs bathroom at 4:00 am, lol.  I foresee a nap in my future today.

Enjoy your golf match today Birdie.  Glad to see you back posting.  Would love your lunch.

This morning I'm going swimming.  I haven't been since last Wednesday because of appointments so I am so happy to get back in the pool.

The rest of the day will be household drudgery, errands and paperwork.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

I was awake early too!  330 to 530 but managed to go back to sleep until almost 8 so that's good. We needed that rain desperately!!

So good to see some rain.  First moisture in a month for my area.

cc, I love grilled shrimp too.  In fact I credit shrimp coctail with helping me lose all my weight.  I would buy a shrimp ring on my way to the office and eat it for lunch and snacks.

Good  morning!

4 months post op and only down .6 lbs this week....better than being up I guess!

Had family (inlaws) visit from Ottawa over the weekend, so I didn't get to the board to post!

Back to normal this morning.

B - premier protein shake

S - deli turkey, cheese stick

L - 3.5 oz chicken with cucumber slices in sour cream and vinegar

S - apple, protein pudding

D - meatloaf

Totals Cal 792, Carbs 61 (YIKES - dang apple, may forgo that), Protein 92

Might add a yogurt for evening snack if I make it to the grocery store today.

Hope you are taking weekly measurements.  Sometimes your body is changing even if the scale isn't.

Actually I do my measurements monthly.  Should have done it yesterday but just wasn't feeling it.  Will do tonight and see.

B: 2 poached eggs, 1/2 slice toast, 1 tsp sugar-free strawberry jam

S: slice blackforest ham

L: split pea soup, muscle milk

S: slice blackforest ham

D: 2.5 oz ground beef, ketchup, 1/4cup zuccini "noodles", 1tsp margarine

Cals: 771, Prot: 77, Fat: 29, Carbs: 59

Exercise: 30 mins weight lifting at gym, 30 mins dog walk

Up 3lbs this week because of Aunt Flo

Good morning . Glad to see you back. Hope it is not too humid for your golf. Work today. I was lazy last week and did not swim. So off to the pool at lunch today.

I had some wine on the weekend. Found it did not agree with my new pain med. It seems to negate the effect of the pain med. So back on the wagon yesterday. Would rather not have pain than drink wine.

My DH wanted a fruit salad. I sent some home with my kids yesterday but still have far too much fruit in the house. Hope it does not go bad as I can only eat a small amount.

l chicken souvaki, tzatziki, broccoli salad, yogurt

s 1 egg, deviled

d pork kabob, salad

s cherries

s yogurt to take meds

Thanks for the welcome back.  I miss logging my food.
