First Nurse Appt tomorrow!
Sorry for the delay in replying... I had my first doctor visit in April. He reviewed all the tests I had done and prescribed vitamin D because I was borderline low. I saw Dr Shaban. He was very nice and informative... the appointment was maybe 10-15 minutes.
He said I didn't need the sleep apnea study because I don't snore and breathe well with my mouth closed. I had my adenoids out as a child.
Yay me!
But I do need the second doctor visit. He tells you to lose weight at the first visit and I was upfront about how when I set my mind to losing weight, I do so very quickly. Its keeping it off that's an issue for me.
So he gave me a number and told me not to go too crazy. He wanted me to lose 18lbs. Which I've done.
Good luck with your appointment!

I guess appointments do move quicker if they are individually booked.
Had my nurse appointment end of June. Was told trying to book appointments together make it a bit longer. Although I guess, I did have the nutrition class and social worker appointment on August 16, until this week I was told there would be no social worker. So I'm tripling up my appointment with my doctor appointment in early Septemeber. Going to be a long day! lol Hopefully booking after that will be a bit quicker.
I was told after the class then you will book your appointment for the dietician. I would assume like how they booked the NP after Orientation.
Good luck to you in your journey.
