Bariatric Advantage Doesn't ship to Canada?
I decided to try the calcium chews from Bariatric Advantage, but when I got to the checkout the site said they couldn't ship them to Canada? Any suggestions?
The pharmacy at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton sell them for $13.99 for 60 chews. They are available in raspberry, chocolate and caramel.

Thanks! I'm in Toronto so it would be nice to find someplace closer but I can drive to Hamilton if I need to :)
Nice Berner in your profile pic btw!
Yes, I just realized that you are in the Toronto area.
Did you try the pharmacy at the hospital where you had surgery, or any of the local hospital pharmacies where bariatric surgery is done?
The berner is my 5 1/2 year old girl...that's a pic of her when she was young.
edited to add: If you do end up going to Hamilton, just call first to make sure they have some in stock. Sometimes they are a little low in stock/some flavours.

Thanks. The pharmacy at TWH is a Shoppers so I doubt they will have them but I'll call to check, good idea about calling the Hamilton Pharmacy - does the pharmacy have a name?
My older Berner is 6 1/2 year old male. He started getting lumps last year (all have come back as just fatty lumps so far) so we got a second male Berner puppy in December. Great dogs but man, when winter comes I really wish we had a yard - they never want to come back in!
I don't know if it actually has a name, but here is the general phone number for the hospital. They should be able to direct you...905-522-1155.
I am glad your berners lumps are just fat. I know its a big fear as they are prone to cancer. I also have an 11 year old golden and am going through the same thing with her.
My berner has been fairly healthy (touch wood) except for having 2 cruciate surgeries when she was four. She tore her one knee and the second one went a few weeks later. Majorly expensive, but I was not about to put her down. Had to do water therapy with her (treadmill in a tank full of water), which was really cool and helped a lot.
I have a pretty good sized yard. She spends the winter outside and the summer sitting over the air conditioning vent. Since surgery I don't need the AC as I am always freezing but I keep it on for her..so I sit in my house in sweats and a blanket and she is happy as all hell.

Problem Solved! Shoppers in TWH has them, $15/bag. I'll be heading over there this afternoon :)
