Just curious, I will have my RnY on 9 September 2016.  What is the pre-op apt?

It is when you meet with the nurse, pharmacists, doctor, anesthesia and do pre-op blood work, ekg etc...

Yes I did my meet the surgeon and pre-op via OTN. No problems at all! 

did you just get all the blood work and testing done early so they had the results?

Yes they emailed me the requisition for blood work in advance.

I've done all my appointments through Telehealth as well. The biggest thing was getting the questionnaires back to them from the orientation- I'm with TWH and it was something like 60 pages.  I tried faxing and it took forever.  They suggest mailing it so get that done early as well. :)

Thanks was for replying ,I have done almost everything OTN but was not sure about the pre op. appointment  as it requires tests and such but I called today and they will call me with the date and the list of tests I'll need to get done for it so that is wonderful for me !
