Hi All,

Well to Windsor and back today, and all is good.  I'm a success.....I wish they wouldn't say that!  How about on the road to success?

Started Aug 24th, 2015 at 280, BMI 39.8.  Today, 211 BMI 29.1.  Under 30 you're a success!!  I still have at least 30 more lbs to go, I'd like to see 30 - 50 lbs maybe.  I'm 6', so maybe 160 is a little low, but certainly between that and 180 is what I would like to see.

So now they want me to add fruits and veg.  Go ahead and introduce rice and pasta they say....WHAT?  I've already been having a little fruit and veg so MAYBE I will increase it, but no thank you to the pasta and rice.  Wasn't a staple for me pre surgery so I'm not about to start eating it now.

Also, I can try non toasted bread....it might not be tolerated well....but again, no thanks.  What I'm doing seems to be working for me.  The scale has moved every week since surgery Monday, April 11th.  Twice it went up (I always weigh and record Mondays, but it went right back down in a couple of days).  This week, I've dropped 6 lbs since Monday, its crazy, but I'm not complaining.

I haven't been perfect, who is? But I stay on track for the most part or get back on track if I slip.  90% of the time (if not a little better) what I post on the menu thread and what I eat is true to word. I haven't met a food I can't tolerate (unfortunately that includes the "bad" ones, and yes I've tried a few).  So, I'll just keep doing what I'm doing, working towards goal!

My ticker shows my loss from the start of the two week liquid diet....

Hi there I'm 5' 11" and the target for me on the BMI index is 160 as well ... ok I would look like a skeleton at 160 lbs ... my target is 180 lbs or maybe 175 lbs just to have a little 'wiggle' room! Congrats on your loss! When I had my 3 month they told me to add some carbs like pasta and rice .... but I never did although every now and then I will have a 1/2 english muffin with PB2 on it.

This past Wednesday I had my 6 month follow-up and I was told I needed to add more fruits and veggies for the complex carbs ... which I will as it's a great time to have some fresh fruit.

Again congrats on your road to success!
