Good morning everyone!  Hump Day and feels like it should be Thursday....I wish.

Nothing going on today....work eat sleep repeat!

B - meatloaf

S - yogurt

L - chicken salad on melba with cucumber slices

S - 1/2 quest bar

D - BBQ chicken breast

S - mini kielbasa

Cal 619, carbs 38, protein 87

Ginny you are doing great with your menus.  I can't remember what centre you went through, but Guelph the one I went through wouldn't let us have red meat until 6 months postop, and here you are having meatloaf for breakfast.  I love it.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

I was through Humber but I honestly don't remember there being restrictions on red meat. I thought it was all just trial and error and make sure your food is moist. I never had a problem with any meats or eggs. Thankfully.

I was at TWH through Windsor Centre tho.  The nutritionist just warned that red meat is harder to digest.  I just chew the blazes out of it and haven't had any problems.  I eat steak too.

Not much on the go today. I haven't posted for a while because my aunt passed away last week. It has been very emotional since then. I have just been trying to keep myself afloat. I'm going to miss her so much.

Breakfast - egg, yogurt

Snack - carrots and pb

Lunch - pork and veg

Snack - pepperette, pudding

Snack - almonds, apricots

Dinner - chicken sausage, veg

Snack - protein cake

All water and vits.
