What are you eating/doing Tuesday?
Can I ask how you make your salmon and cream cheese roll ups and chicken salad? They sound so yummy! I'm 3 days pre-op and mentally trying to get ideas of things to make in the summer. I can look forward to those! Yum!

Laura I'm not a great cook, but more of a lazy cook. For the salmon roll ups I take Smoked salmon, smear chive cream cheese (Western) roll it up and cut into bite size pieces. For the chicken salad, I take rotisserie chicken and cut into bite size pieces, add diced celery and peppers, Franks hot sauce and mayo for Buffalo chicken salad or you could add curry for Bombay chicken salad. Really it s all about your taste preferences.

Thank you! That all sounds so yummy! I'm not a bad cook, but quick and easy is often what I need as a single mom on the go!

You're the gourmet cook Nia. I just buy fancy ingredients and do mix and match. But to cook from scratch and make a sauce, not so much. Heck the Hollandaise I use is premade in a little sleeve, lol (takes me 2-3 meals to use a single serve sleeve).

Morning all. Woke up to a phone call from the bariatric clinic and the nurse screaming in my ear on NSAID use. I was a like WTH!!! I know and understand where she was coming from, but come on, no need to scream so early in the morning. There seemed to be a miscommunication with the dietician as she made it seem i pop 20 pills everyday. I tried to explain about my knee i how i take some once in a blue moon, but she wasn't having any of it. I still have knee pain and i haven't taken any in a while because i know the risk. I was like whatever ok lady, calm down. I just didn't like the way she was talking to me like a little kid and doing the no no finger. I just rolled over and went back to bed.
Well yesterday i was on my way out ready and eager for boxing lol, only to turn right back up because the garage door was not working. I was bummed to say the least as i need my gym days. Hopefully they have it fixed now because today there is Zumba. The apartment pool is open but the water is not heated, so it was freezing for me. I'm always cold, don't need to be extra cold.
