Surgery Date!!
Got mine - June 6!
3 weeks of optifast before hand
Pre-op in May- what do they do for 2-3 hours at the pre-op?
At my pre-op, I had to see the pharmacist, nurse, anesthesiologist and blood work. I also had to give them my insurance information and choose what type of.room I wanted to stay in Post-surgery. All together, it took 2 hours.

I remember having to wait a long time because they were behind schedule. Don't forget to bring your insurance /benefits card if you have coverage for a private or semi private room. Bring something to pass the time.
Good luck with your surgery :-)

Sorry for the late reply! Been a little hectic the last few days. My orientation was in October 2015.
Today I got a call from someone telling me I had to move my appointment for the pre-op to May 16th or the week before, I guess they had to adjust it because I am supposed to start optifast on May 16th. She was pretty weird. I asked her who I was supposed to call and she started throwing out names like "Natalie" and someone else.....I told her I didn't know who those people were and she told me just to call the regular bariatric number. Am I supposed to have a contact person or something? Or was this person who called me just confusing me?
ps - my optifast just arrived as I was typing this :P
