Feeling weak is totally normal, you are taking in way less calories than you are use to. Good luck with your surgery!

Congrats on the loss so far :) I also started Opti on Wed and am down 9 lbs!
I too am feeling weak and having periods of light-headedness, more so when doing physically demanding work like yesterday when I tried to move a cord of firewood from my shed to my porch.
It's an exciting journey though!

What a coincidence that we're both named. Jen and started optifast on Wednesday.
Congrats to you too in the weight loss! I know we'll probably lose more weight. I'm just worried about my sugar levels. Seems to be increasing when I lowered my insulin. Hospital says it's fine.

I hope your insulin stays within acceptable levels until the surgery and then hopefully after surgery they'll no longer be an issue at all!
