RNY  6 Years 9 Months Post Op

Morning

Golfing this morning followed by brunch, followed by Bocce.  ( Bocce is the step before shuffleboard and knowing you are really old!).  

STEPS - 11,033

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

      3/4 cup of eggbeaters scrambled

 

L - 1 scrambled egg

     1 slice of rye toast

     4 slices of crispy bacon  ( bacon sandwich- the best)

 

D - 5 oz beef tenderloin

    1/2 cup of green beans

 

S - Dannon light and fit Greek

    Carnation lite hot chocolate made with decaf and a squirt of whip topping

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,012,  Carbs - 49 Grams,  Protein - 105 Grams,  Fiber - 5 Grams

 

All water - 3 litres - all vits

Bocce sounds like fun. I am hoping to have some time today to go look at new eyeglasses. The prescription is a big change so want to get it in case I need it changed. One f the reasons my eye is better is I have not needed to use my sleep apnea machine. No matter how tight I had the mask it would blow eventually on my eye.

My kids are coming for dinner. So a house full.

b greek yogurt, blueberries, protein cereal

l chicken in salsa, source yogurt

d roast chicken, cauliflower, salad

s not sure, hopefully just tea

I did over 12,000 steps yesterday. The injection in my knee sure did not help this amount of steps.

Good morning everyone.  Birdiegirl enjoy Bocce, sounds like fun. I used to volunteer at a long-term care facility for seniors so I actually really like shuffleboard, its fun.  Bocce I have never played but want to someday.  Pat have a nice visit with your family, I had the same issue with my cpap and it definitely sucks.  I found the older models were worse for that, the newer ones that adjust the pressure were better.  I have to get new glasses soon too, I have noticed my vision is a little worse.  Not looking forward to it as my vision is already really bad.   Off to work soon, and I sooo do not want to go downtown on a Sunday.  Hopefully I will get out of there in time to do my hot yin yoga class at 5pm, I really like how limber and flexible my body feels afterward.  Plus it forces you to be in the moment, sort of like meditation of the body. 

17 months post op

b - 1.5 cups unsweetened vanilla almond breeze with sucralose added

s - 2 sticks of celery with cheez whiz, a slice of low carb cinnamon raisin toast with margarine, later...mango orange sf nesfruta

l - leftover spaghetti squash with garlic mushrooms and parmesan cheese on top, later...xl deacf coffee from Tim Hortons

s - gnc protein shake, later... homemade low carb high protein hot cereal

d - same as lunch, if at hot yoga I will get a protein shake with blueberries and skim milk extra ice, lots of water

s - protein hot chocolate made of unsweetened chocolate almond breeze with chocolite protein powder added

all water and vits, have a nice day everyone!
