Blend it with ice.  The colder the better.  I agree with the other posts that your taste will be altered after surgery.

I love these shakes. for me, its hard not to think of them as chocolate milk, and my kids drink these too. I have to remind them that they're not chocolate milk and are expensive and are really meant for mommy's diet. I use these everyday and throw one in my bag for a snack so I make better choices when out of the house. guess my advice is to drink when ice cold, and only when you need a snack and have nothing else appropriate to eat?
