Good morning everyone.  Woke up a little stuffed up and hope I'm not coming down with a cold.  There seems to be a nasty cold going around and I'm far too happy and busy to be sick, lol.

Good morning everyone!  Cc I feel the same, stuffed up and chills this morning, going to add extra vitamin c to my day.  Hot yoga really kicked my butt, I am still sore 3 days later!  But it feels so good to breathe and move in such a warm space when the weather is cold, it's lovely.  I just wanted to add that it was so nice to get to meet some of you in person while I was in Toronto over the holidays.  You guys are so sweet, it was a real treat to see you. I got to shop in person at the low carb grocery store in Markham for the first time and it was really cool.  Bought lots of interesting stuff to try out.  It was Fun to shop with Cc at low carb Canada too, good times! ?

It was so much fun meeting you again Zizzler.  I know what you mean about orange/mango water enhancer making you feel like you are in the tropics.  Good idea about hot yoga, I need to sweat out any virus I may have picked up.  Extra Vitamin C is also a good idea.

Morning all :)

Still off due to surgery (hopefully back Monday) so I have a hair appointment this morning, home to relax in the PM and then out to dinner with Andrew & his oldest and her boyfriend at the Mandarin. For those who wonder why on earth the Mandarin: Yes, I'm a huge waste of money at that place lol, but eating at a buffet is the easiest restaurant choice out there - tiny bites of whatever suits me, lots of healthy choices (chicken balls and fried rice are not the only things on the menu!). A rather expensive few bites tho, no? haha

Anyway...

9.5 years post-op

-- coffee with cream x 3 over the day --

B - Premier Protein shake (vanilla)

S - muffin-tin crustless quiche

L - spinach salad with lots of fixings (egg, bacon, 2 oz chicken), poppy seed dressing

S - Greek yogurt

D - so many choices, so little pouch space ;)

Have a good one,

K. :)

Nice to see you are feeling well. Yes, after bariatric surgery, buffets are rather expensive for just a few bite, lol. I haven't been to one since a few yrs now. Have fun.

Karen I am so glad you are feeling better.  You were sorely missed.

DH and I often take the inlaws to Mandarin for the holidays.  For me it's cold crab legs  (takes me forever to remove the shells and no one seems to notice that I am on the same plate while they have been up to the buffet 3 times, lol) then I save enough room for a tablespoon of sugar free cappuccino icecream.  Yes it's expensive for me, but priceless in that the inlaws never complain when we go there and no dishes or cooking.
