Good morning all
I went back to swimming yesterday. I have hardly been in the pool for three months. My muscles are definitely sore today.
I was not hungry this morning so had a click expresso protein shake. It was pretty good.I probably will not buy more.I do not use protein shakes much anymore. Still trying to use up the tub I bought 2 years ago.
My DH is home today which is unusual. This will throw off my day. Including my meals. I have no idea what I will have for dinner so will add it to my fitness pal later.

b click protein drink
l chili
s baby bel or 1 oz cheese
d protein and salad

Have a great day everyone

Good morning Pat.  So glad you were able to get in the pool yesterday.  I like the Click espresso protein, the other shakes seem so sweet.  It's a good option for me before swimming because solid fool does not sit well if I eat it before swimming.

Might go to the gym for an hour this morning, other than that I will be doing general household drudgery.

I took myself on a date to see Sisters. DH had no interest. I laughed, and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I loved that movie. Went with my sisters and my DH went to Star Wars with my BIL and nephew. Worked out great for everyone.

Good day everyone,

Pat sorry to hear the click did not go well. I have never tried it but I add a little decaf crystals to my rtd chocolate shake every day and it gives it that less sweet taste I like.  If your tub is chocolate you could use it up that way, just a thought.

CC I enjoy going to the movies alone sometimes too, it can be fun for sure.  About your fogginess, is it dizziness too?  Or confusion?  Either way I hope it gets better soon for you.  You are smart to see the doc if it does not, you never know.

Karen, I have yet to see Star Wars either, I am not in a hurry but would like to see it on the big screen once. Glad to hear you are out and about and feeling ok.  Are you back at work next week or will it be a little longer.

Today has turned into a lazy stay at home day.  I find it nice to have at least one day where I do not leave the house, sort of a hibernation an healthy break.  I finally got around to making those sf covered nuts and they turned out great. I just mixed up egg whites and ez-seetz (sucralose) and let them sit for 5 minutes or so.  I mixed together cocoa powder, decaf coffee crystals, cinnamon, and a tiny pinch of chipotle pepper powder.  I sprinkled this over almonds and walnuts and baked them for 20 mintues at 170 degrees. They will keep for a month according to the recipe. I think the walnuts are actually better than the almonds, which is unexpected.  I have a large carton on eggwhites to use up before they expire so I will make a large batch of psyllium eggwhite wraps and freeze some for later.

Fyi it is 50% off at value village tomorrow with their membership card, the card is free.

b - gnc chocolate shake with tsp decaf coffee crystals added.

s - Ivanhoe Monterey jack "just the cheese" snack bag (omg CC these are awesome, thank you!)

l - handful of homemade sf mocha chocolate walnuts and almonds

s - probably more nuts, I will measure them carefully

d - psyllium eggwhite wrap with some sort of filling, I might try the new sf blackberry fibre jam I bought recently. Or just a tsp of pb.

All water and vitamins. Have a great rest of your day everyone!
