I agree. MOB is wearing black? She wears a lot of black all the time. I am going to wait to be sure the bridesmaids dresses are royal blue. My daughter thinks I should go red. I sure would stand out against the other colours

You'd be a knockout in red, agreed. Fall weddings are so lovely - it opens up a whole other colour pallet and I love gem tones.

Unless they're planning a destination wedding - then any colour at any time goes. ;)

Coral would be a really nice color for October as well.  I wouldn't be wearing black that is for sure LOL

When I was obese I wore a lot of black. I do not own a black dress now. Coral would be nice. I think I like pastels the most. I did see a dress with flowers on top then white and bottom very floral. I would buy something like that for another occasion. I was walking through the Bay and looked a bit but I need Christmas over first

I'd wait as well.  Too many NYE type things out there right now.  My mom wore sage and light yellow floral to my wedding and it was gorgeous.  She opted for a 2 piece so it was solid sage and then the mixed floral and looked great.  Find what you like and run with it.  October in your area is a lot warmer than October in ours so you can get away with different things.

The Bay always has a nice dress selection. I think if I was buying a MOG dress, I'd look at Melanie Lynn.
